Planning and Research

This week i started to get the ball rolling by doing some preparation and research. In preparation and for organisation i created a basic project plan outlining my final dissertation and roughly how many words im aiming for in each section. It is divided into -

Introduction
Literary review/Research
Methodology/Design
Results
Evaluation
Conclusion

This simple plan will help me be organise and divide my time and attention efficiently.

I have also altered my learning contract to develop the additional deliverable. On top of the live action short, i will now create a full working demo of a section of the experience. Due to time restrictions it is not feasible to create the entire story, this would impact greatly on quality and not representative of a final product. Instead the demo will utilise a mix of a few different media to give a taste of the style and will take the user approx. 30 minutes to read through and discover. The live action short will fit in as a thread of the story in the 30 minute demo.

I also watched the first part of "Perverts Guide to Cinema" and lifted useful information which i think will benefit my project.In the guide many techniques and observations are put forward. From the first chapter alone i have lifted a lot which i will try and incorporate into my idea to create an engaging experience.
